Description

A forest tour through York Regional Forest and Durham Regional Forest.

In 1938 The United Counties held a Forestry and Conservation Field Day. It involved a driving tour to various reforested areas through the two counties. We will travel by school bus following much of their tour.

Registration is required. Cost is $40 for members, $60 for non-members and $20 for students, and fees are payable by e-transfer or cheque to Forest History Society of Ontario. Lunch will be provided. Please indicate any dietary needs.

Please register by June 13. Fees are non-refundable after this date but can be substituted. Seats are limited.Meet at 16232 Highway 48 at Eldrid King Woodlands just south of Vivian Sideroad.
